Basic motorcycle operator training course

This weekend course is for beginning motorcycle riders or for the experienced rider who wants to sharpen riding skills. We supply the motorcycles and helmets for this course and you learn to ride on a closed lot free of traffic. We offer hands-on instruction that teaches students the skills they need to get the most out of riding. You'll learn how to operate a motorcycle, the best protective clothing to wear, how to avoid dangerous situations and, most importantly, how to get out of those dangerous situations you can't avoid. If you're under 18, you have to take this course to get a motorcycle driver's license. Attendance on both days is mandatory. Satisfactory completion of this course is signified by the issuance of a Texas Department of Public Safety standardized Motorcycle Operator Training Course Completion Card, MSB-8.

Advanced Motorcycle Operator Training Course

The Advanced Motorcycle Course is a state approved course that covers advanced turning and braking, evasive skills, street strategies and special situations encountered by motorcycle riders, as well as, risk management and visual perception training. It is for experienced riders only. Students must supply their own motorcycle, helmet, gloves and safety gear. This course is offered on an as needed basis.
